I’ve had an amazing week working on the RAF’s 100th birthday gala, and am over the moon to have been asked to orchestrate one of Pixie Lott’s new songs and play it with her at Drury Lane last night alongside the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra!
Delighted to announce that Let it Snow is back for year four! Come and kick off your Christmas holidays with the Old Fountain Jazz Orchestra and their guests in the beautiful setting of St. Giles Church in Elgin on 21st and 22nd December.
This year we’re excited to be working with a community choir, assembled especially for Let it Snow, and running workshops with the local schools to introduce jazz education into their music classes.
We will be supporting Lucy’s Fight again this year. Started by Lucy Lintott in 2013, Lucy’s Fight is a local charity which aims to raise awareness of Motor Neurone Disease. Over the last four years she has raised over £170,000 for MND Scotland; you can read more about her fundraising here.
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 7th September, and are available from Sound and Vision, Black Dog Financial Services, or online from this link.
